A Window to the South

If you look hard enough, you’ll see a beauty to this state that you never knew existed. Abandoned buildings. Deserted churches. Empty fields. Places that still exist. Not all of them are abandoned. Some are just hidden. Rarely touched by anything but the sun, if their deepest corners are lucky enough to see sunlight. What’s more interesting at times are the stories that they hold. The people that were there, the things they did, and the memories that they left with. Take the time to see these things before they are gone, and if you ever run across someone willing to share a story with you don’t hesitate to sit down and lend them an open ear.
