Laundry, Columbia Training School

The laundry facility building located on the grounds of the once operating Columbia Training School is slowly crumbling to pieces. It holds a plethora of old metal bed frames, box springs, chairs, desks, and many other items that were likely used by the juveniles who were housed on the campus.

This building has a somewhat medieval look to it, resembling a small English church holding strong deep in an open field. While there are a few leaks, the tile roof tells its own story of how gorgeous this building would be if it were restored. Even the electrical outlets are ancient, and every single window is missing at least a couple of panes.

Regardless of the broken entryways being consumed by vines and thorns, it's actually a rather inviting little building despite the fact that it holds a disturbing history. A history of a place that was created to help but was eventually forced to close its doors due to allegations of abuse and neglect.
